He is also the senior World Cup correspondent for CBS NEW YORK and has formerly worked at ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, Telemundo and The Guardian. At ESPN, he was a main soccer voice for SportsCenter, ESPN FC and ESPN Deportes covering all aspects of soccer including the Premier League, Champions League, MLS and the men and women's World Cup - both in English and Spanish. His one-on-one interview with Lionel Messi in 2023 was the first exclusive chat in the U.S. as an Inter Miami player.
At CBS Sports, he co-created and hosted ¡Qué Golazo! podcast and YouTube show and served as an analyst for CBS Sports HQ.
At Sports Illustrated, Luis Miguel co-hosted their premium soccer show Planet Fútbol TV with Grant Wahl and led Latino/Spanish content for the entire site.
Last year, he debuted his first book "Messi Mania" on Messi’s incredible journey and his aforementioned arrival to Inter Miami.
