
Kevin Wildes is a co-host of FS1's daily studio show FIRST THINGS FIRST. Known for his sharp wit, creative perspective and ability to blend smart analysis with storytelling, Wildes has become a key voice on one of the network's signature shows.
Since joining FIRST THINGS FIRST in 2020, Wildes has covered sports' biggest moments and stages, hosting the New York-based show on location from FOX Sports’ marquee events including the Super Bowl, World Series and Indianapolis 500, as well as road shows in major cities across the country. His on-air style brings a distinctive balance of humor, curiosity and informed debate, helping drive the show's daily conversation across the sports landscape.
Prior to hosting, Wildes built an extensive career as a television producer and creative executive. He spent more than a decade at ESPN, rising to Vice President of Original Content, NBA Studio Production, where he oversaw NBA Countdown and helped launch and develop projects such as The Jump and Detail with Kobe Bryant for ESPN+.
Earlier in his career, Wildes served as a senior coordinating producer and creative lead within ESPN's Original Programming and Production unit, working on a wide range of studio shows including SportsNation, Numbers Never Lie, Olbermann, Grantland Basketball Hour and It's the Shoes. He also held executive positions at GMA Day and Relevant Sports Group.
In addition to his television work, Wildes is well known in the podcast space for his long-running contributions to the "Half-Baked Ideas" segment on The Bill Simmons Podcast, where his inventive concepts and off-beat thinking have become a fan favorite.
A native of Groton, CT, Wildes graduated with honors from La Salle University in Philadelphia. He resides in New York with his wife, Libby, and their two children.
