CO-HOST, FIRST THINGS FIRST OT
Longtime sports radio personality Danny Parkins joined FOX Sports in 2024 and currently serves as co-host of FS1’s hit daily studio show, FIRST THINGS FIRST: OT, televised on weekdays live from 5:00 to 6:00 PM ET.
Prior to joining FOX, Parkins hosted the Parkins & Spiegel Show on 670 The Score in Chicago where he was nominated for the prestigious Marconi Award in 2022 and consistently ranked as one of the highest-rated shows in the city. He hosted sports radio shows in Kansas City and Syracuse, N.Y before joining The Score.
Parkins, a proud graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, is involved in numerous charitable endeavors, including serving as a board member at BrainUp, a brain cancer research charity in Chicago. In 2024, Parkins co-authored the book Pipeline to the Pros, detailing how D3, small-college nobodies rose to rule the NBA.
Parkins and his wife, Stephanie, have two sons, Owen and Eli.
