Impact Borgen's two goals this season have both gone into empty nets. He's added two assists, eight shots on net, 33 hits, 16 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 12 appearances. His gritty defensive work has been a perfect fit in the top four for the Bruins, and while that isn't likely to make him a fantasy star, his place in the NHL lineup is safe.

Impact Borgen has been a stabilizing defensive presence in the Bruins' top four to start the campaign. With Charlie McAvoy making his season debut Tuesday, Borgen is likely set to see fewer minutes moving forward, but his strong start to the year should keep him in the lineup. Impact Borgen will add some toughness in a bottom-four role on the Bruins' blue line.
