Aleksei Kolosov - Loaned to AHL affiliate Kolosov was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday.
Impact Kolosov posted a 15-21-2 record with a 2.98 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 38 appearances for AHL Lehigh Valley during the 2025-26 regular season. Kolosov's demotion to the minors likely bodes well for Dan Vladar's (upper body) availability for Opening Night against Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Clay Stevenson - Ends up on waivers Stevenson was placed on waivers by the Capitals on Sunday.
Impact Stevenson was the main competition for Charlie Lindgren's roster spot in training camp, but the Capitals opted to stick with the veteran. The 27-year-old Stevenson had a solid stint in the NHL last season, where he posted a 3-1-0 record, a 2.00 GAA and a .921 save percentage across four regular-season games. With AHL Hershey, he was nearly just as effective over a larger body of work, compiling an 18-13-4 record, a 2.62 GAA and a .912 save percentage across 37 regular-season appearances. He's set to be the organization's No. 3 netminder and could once again see NHL work in the 2026-27 season if either Lindgren or Logan Thompson suffer an injury.

Louie Belpedio - Lands on waivers Belpedio was moved to the waiver wire Sunday for the purpose of being assigned to AHL Hershey.
Impact Belpedio recorded nine goals, 34 points and 67 PIM in 68 regular-season games for Washington's top minor-league affiliate in 2025-26. Assuming he clears waivers, he could spend most, if not all, of the 2026-27 campaign with AHL Hershey.
