Red Wings sign Viktor Arvidsson to two-year contract | Detroit Red Wings Forward has recorded 443 points in 682 games with Nashville, Los Angeles, Edmonton and Boston since 2014-15
JULY 1 • NHL.COM
Inks two-year deal Arvidsson (ribs) agreed to terms on a two-year, $10 million contract with Detroit on Wednesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Impact Arvidsson certainly cashed in on his 2025-26 campaign in which he generated 25 goals and 29 assists in 69 regular-season games for the Bruins. With his new club, the 33-year-old Swede could push for a top-six role, as well as see time on the power play. As such, Arvidsson should be capable of replicating his numbers from last year and offering solid top-half fantasy value.

APRIL 28 • BOSTON.COM
Ruled out for Game 5 Arvidsson (upper body) will miss Tuesday's Game 5 against the Sabres, per Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com.
Impact Arvidsson did not travel with the Bruins to Buffalo after sustaining the upper-body injury early in Game 4. The 33-year-old winger has been a large part of the Bruins' offense during the first-round matchup with two goals and 11 shots on net across four games. If Boston can force Game 6, Arvidsson will have a chance to return to the team's lineup in another win-or-go-home situation. In his absence, Michael Eyssimont, James Hagens or Alex Steeves will likely occupy Arvidsson's spot in the lineup.

He has two goals, 11 shots on net, three blocked shots and one hit in four outings this postseason.
