Golden Knights vs. Predators - News - October 13, 2026 | FOX Sports

Adam Edstrom - Nets shortie in loss Edstrom scored a shorthanded goal, added four hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Impact Edstrom has three goals over the last three games, accounting for all of his offense this season. It's likely to be a short-term boost in scoring, as he remains firmly in a bottom-six role without a power-play spot. He's added 11 shots on net, 28 hits and seven blocked shots over six appearances this season. At 26 years old, Edstrom could still have a small breakout campaign, but don't expect a ton of fantasy value.

Dylan Coghlan - Pockets helper Tuesday Coghlan registered an assist, three shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Impact This was Coghlan's second appearance of the season. He is expected to continue filling in while Parker Wotherspoon (upper body) is out on a week-to-week basis. Coghlan has added three shots on net, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-4 rating over his two games so far. While he may see steady playing time, he probably won't be a factor in fantasy.

Rasmus Andersson - Adds two helpers in win Andersson logged two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Impact Andersson's offense is starting to come alive with three points over his last two games. Through eight outings overall, he has four points, 16 shots on net, eight blocked shots, eight PIM and a minus-4 rating. The 29-year-old blueliner can be a steady source of blocks and PIM even when he isn't at his best on offense, and he's a solid option in fantasy for category coverage.

Trevor Connelly - Lights lamp in win Connelly scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators

Impact Connelly continues to offer decent middle-six offense for the Golden Knights. He's up to three goals, two assists, 17 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over eight appearances. Connelly is definitely in the conversation in fantasy as a depth forward, though managers will need to be prepared to ride the highs and lows with a 20-year-old rookie.

Brett Howden - Pair of points in win Howden scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two PIM and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Impact Howden helped out on Tomas Hertl's first-period tally before scoring one of his own in the third. The 28-year-old Howden has been a reliable middle-six forward to start the year, earning five points, 15 shots, nine hits and a plus-4 rating across eight contests. He was held to 22 points in 58 regular-season contests last year, but he should rebound a bit in 2026-27 if he can sustain this steady start.

Ville Heinola - Sent to AHL Heinola was assigned to AHL Henderson on Wednesday.

Impact Heinola was called up by the Golden Knights over the weekend, but he didn't appear in any games during his time with the NHL club. Across three regular-season appearances in the AHL this year, he's recorded a goal and four PIM, and he should have more consistent opportunities for playing time in the minors.
