Impact The Golden Knights now have only six healthy blueliners on their roster, so this move may have been made to allow Coghlan to get some games in with the minor-league club, as the AHL will not be on hiatus during the 2026 Winter Olympics. The right-shot blueliner has gotten into just two games with the big club this season.

Impact Rondbjerg sustained the injury in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks. After moving to the IR list, he will miss at least Wednesday's game against the Canucks and Thursday's matchup against the Kings. However, it's unclear if Rondbjerg will be available to play for Denmark at the Olympics. He has one assist and six shots on goal in four games with Vegas this season.

Impact Stone has cooled off following a 12-goal, 11-assist binge over 14 games from Dec. 29 to Jan. 23. He's earned just five helpers and seven shots over his last five outings. Even with the dip in production, Stone has an excellent 20 goals, 35 helpers, 88 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 39 appearances. Staying healthy will be the big challenge, but if he can, he could push to top the career-best 73 points he produced between Vegas and Ottawa in 77 games in 2018-19.

Ivan Barbashev - Lights lamp again Sunday Barbashev scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.
Impact Barbashev cut the deficit to 3-2 in the middle of the third period. The 30-year-old winger has scored in three straight games and looks to have his groove back after a month-long goal drought that briefly saw him bumped to the third line. He's at 15 goals, 38 points, 84 shots on net, 88 hits and a plus-10 rating across 55 appearances as a top-six regular for the Golden Knights.

Tomas Hertl - Scores late in loss Hertl scored a goal, added two PIM and logged two hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.
Impact Hertl had picked up three assists during a five-game goal drought. He gave the Golden Knights a chance after cutting the deficit to one goal at 19:54 of the third period, but there wasn't enough time for an equalizer. Hertl continues to provide steady offense from a middle-six role. He's now at 22 goals, 48 points, 145 shots on net, 74 hits, 35 PIM, 27 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 55 appearances.

Impact Marner has scored in three straight games, picking up three goals and an assist in that span. The 28-year-old playmaker is showing that he can be dangerous with his shot as well, though his recent efforts haven't prevented the Golden Knights from losing five straight contests. Marner is up to 15 goals, 56 points, 112 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 55 appearances in a top-six role.

Impact The Golden Knights ran out of time after Tomas Hertl brought the deficit back to one late in the third period. Hill took his third straight loss (0-2-1), and he's allowed 14 goals on 81 shots in that span. For the season, the 29-year-old goalie is 3-3-3 with a 3.51 GAA and an .856 save percentage over 11 contests. Both Hill and Akira Schmid are likely to get one more start prior to the Olympic break, as the Golden Knights host the Canucks on Wednesday and the Kings on Thursday in a back-to-back set.

Impact Rondbjerg took a hard hit late in the second period of Sunday's matchup and remained in the locker room for the final frame. Head coach Bruce Cassidy didn't provide many details about the injury after the matchup but said that it "didn't look good." Rondbjerg was slated to play for Denmark during the Olympics, and it's not yet clear whether his ailment will impact his availability.
