Scores in return from arm injury Foerster scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Impact Foerster was initially injured Dec. 1, and he was given a five-month timeline to return after undergoing surgery Dec. 15. He returned faster than expected and was able to play 16:19 in his first game back, scoring the Flyers' first goal just 31 ticks into the second period. Injuries have made this a bit of a lost year for the winger, but he's still amassed 11 goals, 14 points, 45 shots on net, 22 hits, 18 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 22 outings. Foerster will be a candidate for top-six minutes and power-play time while the Flyers try to pull off a long-shot attempt at making the playoffs.

Cleared to return against Detroit Foerster (arm) will return to action for Thursday's game against the Red Wings.

Impact Foerster has been sidelined since early December due to an arm injury that required surgery. He was initially expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season, but he'll return to game action with a week and a half remaining in the 2025-26 campaign. He skated on the top line during Thursday's morning skate and will presumably line up alongside Trevor Zegras and Owen Tippett against the Red Wings. Over 21 appearances to begin the season, Foerster recorded 10 goals, three assists, 20 hits, 18 blocked shots and 18 PIM while averaging 17:27 of ice time.
