Impact Bauer's new deal is a two-way agreement in 2026-27 and a one-way pact in 2027-28. The 24-year-old blueliner had one goal, four assists and 110 PIM in 52 regular-season appearances for AHL Manitoba in 2025-26. He will probably begin the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.

Likely ticketed for AHL Bauer was put on waivers by the Jets on Tuesday, per James Mirtle of The Athletic.

Impact Bauer logged two assists, 105 PIM and a minus-21 rating over 59 appearances with AHL Manitoba in 2024-25. The 2020 sixth-round selection has never appeared in an NHL game.
