Pulled after leaking five goals Jarry allowed five goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Ducks.
Impact He deserved the loss, but Jarry was pulled after Beckett Sennecke tied the game at 5-5 in the third period. This wasn't a good look for Jarry, as he gave up some soft tallies in his fourth straight performance of at least four goals against. He's now at a 15-7-2 record with a 3.18 GAA and an .890 save percentage over 26 games between Pittsburgh and Edmonton this season, but his 3.85 GAA and .864 save percentage in 12 games as an Oiler paint a darker picture. If Jarry can't turn things around, he'll likely have to split the crease with Connor Ingram, who should be expected to start versus the Kings on Thursday despite making a relief appearance Wednesday.

Drawing start in Anaheim Jarry will defend the road crease against Anaheim on Wednesday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Impact Jarry wasn't particularly effective leading up to the Olympic break, as he went 2-3-0 with a 5.28 GAA and .831 save percentage across his last five outings. However, he'll draw the start in the Oilers' first game following the layoff against the Ducks, who are scoring 3.20 goals per game this year, which ranks 16th in the league.

FEBRUARY 5 • HOCKEYFEED.COM
Another ugly outing Jarry allowed four goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Flames.
Impact The Flames converted twice on the power play in the first period, and Jarry gave up an even-strength goal in each of the last two frames. The 30-year-old netminder has allowed at least four goals in four of his last five games. For the season, Jarry is 15-7-2 with a 3.07 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 25 appearances, but his numbers have been far worse in Edmonton than they were in Pittsburgh. He is poised to continue competing with Connor Ingram for playing time following the Olympic break.

Set to start Wednesday Jarry is set to start on the road against Calgary on Wednesday, per Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels.
Impact Jarry has a 15-6-2 record, 3.03 GAA and .895 save percentage in 24 outings between Pittsburgh and Edmonton this campaign. He's struggled recently, allowing at least four goals in three of his past four appearances. A game against Calgary might help Jarry bounce back. The Flames have gone 1-4-2 while averaging just 1.71 goals per game across their past seven outings.

FEBRUARY 1 • HOCKEYFEED.COM
Pulled after allowing five goals Jarry stopped 15 of 20 shots before he was replaced by Connor Ingram in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Wild.
Impact Jarry was the goalie of record Saturday in another uninspiring outing. He's allowed at least four goals in four of seven appearances since returning from a lower-body injury, posting an .868 save percentage in that span. He's now 15-6-2 with a 3.02 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 24 outings this season, but his numbers with the Oilers are a much less impressive 3.59 GAA and .873 save percentage in 10 contests. That's not the stability the Oilers were looking for, though a rest during the Olympic break could do wonders as a reset for the 30-year-old. With Jarry and Connor Ingram struggling, it wouldn't be surprising to see Calvin Pickard get a look for the first time since Jan. 8 in either Tuesday's game versus the Maple Leafs or Wednesday's game in Calgary, though no official plans have been set.

Tending twine Saturday Jarry will patrol the home crease against Minnesota on Saturday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
Impact Jarry has won his last two outings despite allowing six goals on 56 shots. He has a 9-3-1 record with a 2.66 GAA, a .909 save percentage and one shutout through 14 appearances this campaign. Minnesota sits 13th in the league with 3.18 goals per game this season.

Earns win Monday Jarry stopped 36 of 40 shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.
Impact Jarry has won his last two starts with the Oilers, but things could've been different if he didn't play for one of the best offenses in the NHL. Jarry has allowed four or more goals in three of his six starts since returning from a lower-body injury, going 3-2-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .882 save percentage over that span.
