Alex Laferriere - Under the weather Laferriere won't play Sunday against the Sharks due to an illness, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Impact Laferriere will miss his fifth game of the season. The Kings will roll with 11 forwards and seven blueliners Sunday -- Jacob Moverare will draw back into the lineup due to Laferriere's absence. The 23-year-old Laferriere has generated 16 goals and 35 points across 68 outings in 2024-25.

David Rittich - Tending twine Sunday Rittich will defend the home crease against the Sharks on Sunday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Impact The Kings are playing in the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday, so Rittich will be between the pipes for the second time in the team's last three games. He's made four starts this month, going 2-2-0 with a 3.78 GAA and .883 save percentage. He'll have a favorable matchup against the Sharks, who are averaging just 2.60 goals per game this season, which is tied for the second-worst mark in the NHL.

Joseph Woll - Expected to start against Anaheim Woll is expected to start Sunday's road game against the Ducks, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Impact Woll hasn't been very effective over his last two starts, going 0-1-1 with a 4.53 GAA and .864 save percentage during that time. He made an appearance against the Ducks at home earlier in the season, turning aside 19 of 20 shots (.950 save percentage) to earn the win on Dec. 12. The Ducks are averaging just 2.72 goals per game this season, which is tied for the seventh-worst mark in the league.
