Andrew Cogliano - Returns, finishes in lossCogliano scored a goal on one shot and had a block in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
ImpactA trailing Cogliano finished a feed from Nathan MacKinnon to give Colorado a 2-0 lead in the first period. Cale Makar - Snaps point droughtMakar had a power-play assist, three shots on net and three blocks in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Toronto.
ImpactMakar picked up the secondary helper on Artturi Lehkonen's first-period strike. The assist snapped a seven-game drought without a point for Makar, easily the longest such stretch for the offensively gifted blueliner. Despite the recent fallow stretch, Makar's 61 points ranks second in defenseman scoring behind only Vancouver's Quinn Hughes (70 points).

Nathan MacKinnon - 28-game home point streakMacKinnon picked three apples Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Toronto.
ImpactThe points extended his season-opening home point streak to 28 games, which is tied for the sixth-longest at any point of the season in NHL history. MacKinnon has 62 assists this year. It is the second time he's had at least 60 in his career (2022-23), which puts him third on the team's record list.
