Rare goal in win Lorentz scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-3 win over Pittsburgh.
Impact Lorentz put the Leafs up 3-1 early in the second period. He stole the puck from Erik Karlsson in the defensive zone and took off on a breakaway, eventually stuffing in his own rebound past Stuart Skinner. It was a nice effort by Lorentz, but his fantasy value is limited to his ability to lay hits. He has 64 in 29 games; the goal was his fourth of the season (six assists).

Snaps 10-game goal slump Lorentz scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-3 loss to the Oilers on Saturday.
Impact Lorentz snapped a 10-game goal drought (one assist) with the snipe. He and Scott Laughton have shown solid chemistry on line four, and the addition of Easton Cowan has helped bolster that trio. Lorentz has 54 hits in 25 games, which slides him into the league's top-100. But nine points (three goals, six assists) in 25 games aren't enough to pull him off the wire.

Impact Lorentz helped the Leafs take a 2-1 lead midway through the second period with his second goal of the season. Overall, the 29-year-old center has six points and 33 hits through 14 games this season. He has found the lineup consistently over the past four games with both Auston Matthews (lower-body) and Scott Laughton (upper-body) on injured reserve. While Lorentz's role is limited on Toronto's fourth line and checking unit, his offense has been noteworthy with four points in his last eight games. While he remains off the radar in standard fantasy formats, he could currently help lineups in a pinch in deeper leagues that value banger stats.
