APRIL 26 • ROTOWIRE
Up from AHL Murashov was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.
Impact Since Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has a bye through the first round of the AHL postseason, Murashov will spend a little time with the big club as a third goalie. The 22-year-old will likely be swapped out for a different netminder once the Baby Pens' playoff run begins.

Called up from minors Murashov was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.
Impact Murashov has played in five NHL games this season in which he is sporting a 1-1-2 record, 2.56 GAA and one shutout. With the Baby Pens, the 22-year-old backstop has been hard to beat, going 23-8-3 with a .922 save percentage and three shutouts. Widely considered the Pens' goalie of the future, that could start now with both Stuart Skinner (eye) and Arturs Silovs underwhelming in recent performances.
APRIL 7 • ROTOWIRE

Earns start Sunday Murashov will start Sunday's game against the Mammoth, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.
Impact The debut of Stuart Skinner will continue to have to wait. Murashov was recalled on an emergency basis Saturday, and he'll make the start Sunday with the team on the second of a back-to-back and Skinner remaining unavailable due to issues with his immigration paperwork. It's been a small sample size, but the 21-year-old Murashov has been solid this season, going 1-1-1 with a 1.90 GAA and a .913 save percentage.
DECEMBER 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Recalled on emergency basis Murashov was called up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on an emergency basis Saturday.
Impact The Penguins needed a backup goaltender as Stuart Skinner was unable to acquire a working visa in time for Saturday's tilt against San Jose. Murashov will back up Arturs Silovs and will remain with the Penguins until Skinner is able to secure the visa.

Earns AHL shutout Murashov posted a 34-save shutout in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 3-0 win over Hartford on Wednesday.
Impact Murashov picked up his eighth win and second shutout in 11 outings for the Baby Pens this season. He's 8-2-0 with a 1.56 GAA and a .943 save percentage in the AHL, and he also went 1-1-1 with a shutout over four games in the NHL. Murashov looks to be the Penguins' goalie of the future, though the organization will be happy to see him have at least one dominant full season in the minors before giving him a longer NHL look.
DECEMBER 11, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to minors Murashov was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday.
Impact Murashov has a 1-1-1 record, 1.90 GAA and .913 save percentage in four appearances with Pittsburgh this season. Although Murashov held his own when called upon, he's the odd man out now that Tristan Jarry (lower body) has been activated off injured reserve. Jarry is set to start at home against Buffalo on Wednesday, while Arturs Silovs will serve as the understudy. If Jarry or Silovs become unavailable later in the campaign, then Murashov will probably be recalled.
NOVEMBER 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Tagged with OT loss Saturday Murashov stopped 18 of 21 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kraken.
Impact Murashov entered this game with a 1-1-0 record while tallying one shutout, a 1.53 GAA and a .932 save percentage across three appearances in his first NHL campaign. He wasn't able to maintain the strong start here, but the ups and downs are common among young goaltenders. Murashov should return to his No. 2 role when the Penguins take on the Sabres on Wednesday, allowing Arturs Silovs to return to his regular role between the pipes.

Set to face Seattle Murashov will tend the home twine Saturday against the Kraken, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.
Impact Murashov will see game action for the second day in a row after replacing Arturs Silovs in goal during Friday's 5-0 loss to Minnesota. The 21-year-old Murashov is 1-1-0 with one shutout, a 1.53 GAA and a .932 save percentage across three appearances in his first NHL campaign. This is the first half of a back-to-back for the Kraken, so they have the rest advantage for this cross-conference matchup.
NOVEMBER 22, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Makes 10 saves in relief Murashov made 10 saves on 11 shots in relief during Friday's 5-0 loss to the Wild.
Impact Murashov made his season debut on Nov. 9 in a loss to the Kings, though he posted an .889 save percentage in that defeat. The 21-year-old has shown promise in his first three appearances with Pittsburgh, going 1-1-0 with a 1.53 GAA and a .932 save percentage. With Tristan Jarry (lower body) on injured reserve, Murashov should continue to see playing time as Arturs Silovs' backup, which is especially true given the latter's recent struggles.

Posts shutout in Sweden Murashov saved all 21 shots on goal in Sunday's 4-0 shutout win over the Predators.
Impact Murashov followed up his solid debut with a stellar performance that included five saves at a man disadvantage to help lift the Penguins over the Predators. With the shutout, the 21-year-old netminder has a 1-1-0 record with a 1.52 GAA and a .938 save percentage across the first two appearances of his career. He has filled in admirably so far while Tristan Jarry (lower-body) has been sidelined. Regardless of whether Murashov is sent back to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton once Jarry returns, he should grab a few more starts at the NHL level to showcase his skills. For now, Murashov is a solid spot start with the right matchup in fantasy.
