INJURIES

Heads to AHL Colangelo was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Thursday.
Impact The Ducks' season is over, so that's why Colangelo is heading to the minors. He had 10 goals, 12 points, 41 shots and 67 hits in 32 outings with Anaheim in 2024-25. The 23-year-old has also contributed 19 goals and 35 points across 38 appearances with San Diego this season.

Scores again Tuesday Colangelo scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild.
Impact Colangelo has scored in consecutive games as he heats up again toward the end of the campaign. The 23-year-old is at 10 goals, 12 points, 41 shots on net, 66 hits, 17 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 31 appearances. He may be reassigned to AHL San Diego after Wednesday's game versus the Jets, but the Gulls aren't in the AHL playoffs, so he won't be getting much more playing time this season.

Tallies in loss Colangelo scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Colangelo ended a five-game point drought with his second-period tally. The 23-year-old has had some bursts of offense late in the season as he tries to make a positive impression, which could help him start 2025-26 in the NHL. The winger is at nine goals, two assists, 39 shots on net, 65 hits and a minus-5 rating across 30 appearances with the Ducks this season.

Earns two points Tuesday Colangelo scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
Impact Colangelo set up a Trevor Zegras goal early in the first period and then scored one of his own in the final minute of the frame. Those two forwards, along with Mason McTavish, combined for seven points and 15 shots on net in this game. Colangelo has three points over his last two outings and is up to eight goals, two assists, 32 shots on net, 50 hits and a minus-3 rating through 24 appearances this season.

Cashes in on power play Colangelo scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact The goal was Colangelo's first point in three games since returning from an upper-body injury that cost him five contests. The 23-year-old has resumed his third-line role as well as taking a spot on the second power-play unit, where he's emerged as a net-front presence. The winger is up to seven goals, one assist, 31 shots on net, 50 hits and a minus-4 rating across 23 appearances for the Ducks this year.

Slated to return Wednesday Colangelo (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bruins, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.
Impact Colangelo has missed the last five games due to an upper-body injury, but he should be back in action at home Wednesday. Over 20 appearances with the Ducks this year, he's logged six goals, an assist, 42 hits and 14 blocked shots while averaging 11:39 of ice time.
MARCH 26 • ROTOWIRE
Not playing Sunday Colangelo will not be available for Sunday's home matchup versus Carolina, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Impact Colangelo will be sidelined for a fifth consecutive contest, and it's unclear if he's close to returning. The 23-year-old was held off the scoresheet in back-to-back games prior to getting hurt, but he's been productive with five goals and six points across seven appearances in March. Anaheim's next game is Wednesday against Boston.

Skips road trip Colangelo (upper body) didn't travel with the Ducks for their two-game road trip, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports Tuesday.
Impact Colangelo has already missed a pair of games due to his upper-body issue and will now be sidelined for two more. Prior to getting hurt, the 23-year-old winger was rolling offensively with five goals and one assist in his last six outings. With Colangelo and Ross Johnston both on the shelf, Nikita Nesterenko should get an extended look at the NHL level.

MARCH 17
Sitting out Sunday Colangelo (upper body) won't play against St. Louis on Sunday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Impact Colangelo will miss his second straight game. He has contributed six goals, one assist, 28 shots on net and 42 hits through 20 NHL appearances this season. Due to the absences of Colangelo and Ross Johnston (upper body), Nikita Nesterenko and Jansen Harkins will be in the lineup versus the Blues on Sunday.
MARCH 16 • ROTOWIRE
Not available Friday Colangelo (upper body) will not play versus Nashville on Friday.
Impact Colangelo was pointless in his last two games after going on a four-game goal-scoring streak in which he tallied five goals. The 23-year-old has six goals and one assist over 20 outings this season. He could return as early as Sunday in St. Louis. The Ducks recalled Nikita Nesterenko in a corresponding move and he could enter the lineup Friday.

Two more goals in win Colangelo scored twice on three shots and added two hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Impact Colangelo is up to five goals and an assist during his four-game point streak. His first goal was another from close range late in the first period to open the scoring, and he added an empty-netter in the third after an early and aggressive pull of goalie Marcus Hogberg by head coach Patrick Roy when the Islanders were down 3-0. Fantasy managers should at least be taking notice of Colangelo's hot stretch. He has a willingness to go to the tough areas at the net front, and that's leading to him cashing in regularly on a line with Mason McTavish and Cutter Gauthier.

Goals in three straight games Colangelo scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two hits in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Blues.
Impact Colangelo scored for the third game in a row, and this was his first career power-play point at the NHL level. The 23-year-old winger is carving out a role as a net-front presence, and it helps that he has chemistry with Mason McTavish and Cutter Gauthier on the third line. Colangelo is up to five points, 23 shots on net, 36 hits and a minus-5 rating across 17 appearances this season. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should take a look, as he could offer a boost in points and hits down the stretch.

Scores again Wednesday Colangelo scored a goal, added two hits and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.
Impact The Ducks' new-look third line cashed in again, with Colangelo burying the opening goal at 13:21 of the first period. The 23-year-old has three points over his last two games and appears to be settling in a little better during his third stint on the NHL roster this season. He's at four points, 21 shots on net, 34 hits and a minus-4 rating across 16 NHL appearances in 2024-25.
