Impact Suzuki got his first taste of NHL action with the Hurricanes during the 2024-25 campaign, but he spent all of last season at AHL Chicago. He recorded 13 goals, 35 assists and 30 PIM over 66 regular-season appearances last year and will likely spend most of his time in the minors once again during the 2026-27 season.

Hat trick in AHL series-clincher Suzuki scored three goals in AHL Chicago's 6-1 win over Texas in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Impact Suzuki is up to four goals, two assists and 16 shots on net over five playoff games. The center had 48 points over 66 regular-season outings. With Tuesday's win, Suzuki and the Wolves are through to the Central Division Finals, so it'll be a while before he's a potential call-up to the Hurricanes.

Three assists in AHL loss Suzuki logged three assists in AHL Chicago's 7-6 loss to Texas on Sunday.

Impact Suzuki has just one goal since the start of February, but he's added 10 assists in 12 contests in that span. For the season, he's at 10 goals and 33 helpers over 51 appearances. He's added a plus-18 rating, as the Wolves are having one of their better seasons with a hearty crop of prospects biding their time for a call-up to the Hurricanes.

Contributes three helpers Suzuki logged three assists in AHL Chicago's 7-6 overtime loss to Cleveland on Thursday.

Impact Suzuki has four goals and eight assists during a seven-game point streak. That surge has him up to 30 points in 36 outings this season, though he continues to be heavy on playmaking for the second year in a row. The 24-year-old center hasn't been able to turn AHL success into a long look with the Hurricanes yet.

Nets two goals for Wolves Suzuki scored twice in AHL Chicago's 5-2 win over Rockford on Saturday.

Impact Suzuki had gone six games without a goal, though he had five assists in that span. The center is at six goals, 24 points and a plus-10 rating over 33 appearances this season. Suzuki's offense is a little worse than last year, when he had 59 points in 69 regular-season contests, so a call-up to the NHL doesn't seem likely any time soon.

Records three helpers Friday Suzuki had three assists in AHL Chicago's 6-4 win over Milwaukee on Friday.

Impact Suzuki hadn't logged a multi-point effort since Oct. 19. The 24-year-old is at just two goals and 13 points through 21 outings this season. Suzuki's never really gotten an extended look in the NHL after going 28th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, and his drop in production this year won't help his case for a call-up.

Collects three points in win Suzuki scored a goal on three shots and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 6-5 win over Rockford on Sunday.

Impact Suzuki played in his first two NHL games last year, but he's not ready to be a regular for the Hurricanes. The 24-year-old would likely benefit from a change of scenery, though Carolina has given no indication that will happen any time soon. Suzuki has five points in three games this season after logging 12 goals and 59 points in 69 regular-season appearances with the Wolves in 2024-25.

On waivers Tuesday Suzuki was designated for waivers by Carolina on Tuesday.

Impact Suzuki made his NHL debut last year, recording two hits and a minus-1 rating in two regular-season games with the Hurricanes. While the 24-year-old center figures to start the year in the minors, assuming he clears, he should be on the short list of potential call-ups throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

The 24-year-old fared much better with AHL Chicago, generating 12 goals and 47 assists across 69 regular-season outings. The 2019 first-round pick will most likely spend the majority of 2025-26 in the minors since the Hurricanes have plenty of depth up front.
