Impact Tufte has a goal in four appearances with Boston this season. The 27-year-old also has eight goals and 16 points in 13 outings with Providence in 2025-26.

Impact The 27-year-old winger spoiled Pyotr Kochetkov's shutout bid with only 10 seconds left in the third period by banging home the puck during a scrum in front of the Carolina net. Promoted from AHL Providence earlier in the day, it was Tufte's first goal as a Bruin in seven contests -- he played six with Boston last season but didn't record a point. A first-round pick of the Stars in the 2016 NHL Draft, 25th overall, Tufte delivered 21 goals and 42 points in 58 games for Providence in 2024-25, but he's still looking to establish himself at the top level. Injuries to Elias Lindholm (lower body), Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) and Casey Mittelstadt (lower body) are giving him a chance.

Impact Tufte has eight goals and 16 points in 13 minor-league outings this season. Due to injuries to forwards Viktor Arvidsson (lower body), Elias Lindholm (lower body), John Beecher (upper body) and Casey Mittelstadt (lower body), the 27-year-old Tufte will probably make his NHL season debut in Monday's matchup against Carolina.

Impact Tufte has been excellent to start 2025-26, racking up seven goals and seven assists over nine contests. Impact Tufte was skating in a second-line role at Wednesday's practice and looks set to return to the lineup against the Hurricanes on Thursday. In his five NHL games this year, the 26-year-old winger has yet to register a point but has been significantly more productive in the minors where he has generated 18 goals and 13 helpers in 42 outings.
