Impact Tippett has 14 goals, 30 points, 75 hits and 46 blocks in 52 appearances in 2024-25. Rodrigo Abols might draw back into the lineup due to Tippett's absence.

Nathan Bastian - Buries power-play goal Bastian scored a power-play goal and added three hits in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Flyers.
Impact Bastian has not often seen power-play time this year, but he looks to have a chance now while Nico Hischier (upper body) is out. Hischier's injury caused some shuffling on the Devils' power-play units, with Bastian checking in on the second unit while Ondrej Palat gets a larger role with the first unit. That gives Bastian a bit more upside in deep fantasy formats, but he has just eight points with 31 shots on net, 73 hits and 27 PIM across 35 appearances this season.

Impact Mercer has three goals over his last four games, but he's earned a modest five points through 13 outings in January. The 23-year-old is still set for a larger role while Nico Hischier (upper body) is out -- Mercer led all Devils forwards with 19:12 of ice time Wednesday. Availability has often been Mercer's best ability in 2024-25, as he's added 13 goals, 11 assists, 92 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 53 appearances in a middle-six role.
