Jiri Patera - Claimed by Boston Patera was claimed off waivers by the Bruins on Wednesday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.
Impact Patera was waived by the Canucks on Tuesday with the intent of assigning him to the AHL, but he'll join the Bruins ahead of the regular season. He made six regular-season appearances with Vegas last year and posted a 1-3-1 record, 3.97 GAA and .893 save percentage.

Cal Petersen - Waived Wednesday Petersen was placed on waivers Wednesday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Impact Petersen had a 2.71 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 28 regular-season appearances with AHL Lehigh Valley. The 29-year-old netminder has a 46-44-10 record, 2.96 GAA and .903 save percentage across 106 career NHL games.
