Kurtis MacDermid - Playing time still limited MacDermid didn't appear in any of the Senators' games in January.
Impact That's 16 straight contests in the press box for the enforcer. MacDermid had an assist, five hits and 17 PIM over eight outings in December when he logged more consistent playing time. He's at 33 PIM, 13 hits and a minus-3 rating over 16 contests this season. MacDermid is a non-fantasy player even when he's in a full-time role, as he offers far too little offense.

Jake Sanderson - Plates two helpers in win Sanderson recorded two assists, placed two shots on net and recorded three blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Impact Sanderson was heavily involved in the third period, as he recorded a power-play assist just 37 seconds into the period before later assisting Shane Pinto's empty-net goal. The pair of helpers brings Sanderson up to 34 assists and 44 points, to go with 114 shots on net and 107 blocked shots across 54 games this season. The 23-year-old blueliner is currently tied for seventh in points among NHL defensemen and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. With 11 points in his last nine games, he continues to play the premier role on the blue line for the Senators, who have a shot to start soaring up the Eastern Conference standings following the return of goalie Linus Ullmark. Sanderson is on track to shatter his career best of 57 points, which he compiled across 80 regular-season games a year ago, making him a high-level fantasy option in all league formats.

Shane Pinto - Strikes empty-netter Pinto scored an empty-net goal and put three shots on net in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Impact Pinto placed the bow atop Saturday's 4-1 win with his empty-net goal with just over one minute remaining in the contest. Through 44 games this season, the 25-year-old center is up to 15 goals, 27 points, 95 shots on net, 52 hits and 26 blocked shots. While his numbers don't immediately jump off the page, Pinto has taken a step forward this season while skating over one minute more per game than a season ago. From his secondary power-play usage to solid category coverage, the young center holds plenty of reasons to maintain a middle-six role for the remainder of the regular season. He has a strong chance to surpass the 37 points he posted in 70 regular-season games a year ago, which bodes well for his fantasy stock in category-based leagues.

Tim Stutzle - One of each in win Stutzle scored a goal, registered an assist and fired five shots on net in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Impact Stutzle extended his point streak to four games Saturday when he picked up a secondary helper on Brady Tkachuk's power-play goal in the first period. Stutzle later scored at even strength for a tally in the third period that ultimately put the game away. Overall, the 24-year-old center is up to 25 goals, 32 assists, 137 shots on net, 87 hits and 35 blocked shots across 54 games this season. With 28 games remaining on Ottawa's regular-season schedule, the star center has a chance to reach the 90-point mark for the second time in his six-year NHL career. Regardless of where the point total falls at the end of the season, Stutzle is bound to turn in another fantastic campaign while covering a bundle of stat categories along the way for fantasy purposes.

Impact Cozens tallied the go-ahead goal in Saturday's contest less than a minute into the third period. His power-play twine finder brought his season totals up to 18 goals, 41 points, 128 shots on net and 144 hits through 54 games this season. Since the start of the new year, the 24-year-old center has shot the puck efficiently with seven goals, 11 points and a 19.4 shooting percentage across his last 14 games. He's currently riding a six-game point streak and remains heavily involved inside Ottawa's top six. Cozens is developing into a high-level center option in fantasy in leagues that value banger stats, as he's on pace to reach the 200-hit mark for the second straight year.

Brady Tkachuk - Grabs trio of points Saturday Tkachuk scored a power-play goal, distributed two assists, fired three shots on net and dished out two hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Impact After lighting the lamp for the game's opening goal in the first period, Tkachuk helped break the contest open in the third with a pair of helpers, including one on a power play. With his three-point night, the 26-year-old winger is up to 14 goals, 22 assists, 132 shots on net and 94 hits across 34 games this season. Saturday's performance helped him climb back above a point per game in limited action this season. Since Jan. 14, he has six goals, 15 points and 30 shots on net across nine games. While reaching his career high in points is likely out of the question, Tkachuk has a strong chance to record his fifth consecutive season with 55-plus points, 250-plus shots on net and 200-plus hits. He is one of the true elite category-coverage forwards in fantasy.

Linus Ullmark - Shines in return to lineup Ullmark turned aside 26 of 27 shots on goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Impact Following his leave of absence due to personal reasons, Ullmark earned Saturday's first star of the game in his return to the lineup. Outside of New Jersey's lone goal late in the first period, he kept Ottawa's net tidy, which had often been an issue in his absence. With the win, the 32-year-old Ullmark now has a 15-8-5 record, a 2.89 GAA and an .884 save percentage across 29 appearances this season. While his second full season with the Senators has been a slight step back from a season ago, he sits just five wins away from securing 20-plus wins for the fifth consecutive year. With an impressive showing in his return, Ullmark has a bright outlook with Ottawa moving up the Eastern Conference standings. He holds solid fantasy value in most two-goalie formats.
