Undergoing knee surgery
Jensen will undergo knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will be out for approximately six week, per TSN 1200 Ottawa on Tuesday.
Impact
Jensen may have played his last game this season, as the Senators have an uphill battle to make the playoffs. With his six-week timeline, he wouldn't be available until at least the end of April, so he'll end the regular season with four goals, 17 points, 65 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 61 appearances.

Out for at least two games
Jensen (lower body) won't play against Anaheim on Saturday and will miss Sunday's game against San Jose, according to Julian McKenzie of The Athletic.
Impact
It's unclear if Jensen will be ready to play versus Washington on Wednesday. He remains day-to-day after missing Friday's practice. Dennis Gilbert will replace Jensen in Saturday's lineup against the Ducks.

Suffers lower-body injury
Jensen missed practice Friday with a lower-body injury, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Jensen's injury is not to his hip, which caused him to undergo offseason surgery. He has four goals, 13 assists and 65 blocked shots over 61 games this season. If Jensen is unable to play Saturday versus Anaheim, look for Dennis Gilbert to enter the lineup on the third pairing, alongside Nikolas Matinpalo.

Pots goal Sunday
Jensen scored a goal in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact
Jensen closed out the scoring for the Senators with a wrister at the 3:56 mark of the third period. That was just his fourth goal of the campaign. The 35-year-old veteran isn't much of a fantasy contributor when it comes to goals or assists, but it's worth noting that he has two goals and two helpers in his last six games while notching all but one of his four goals since the beginning of January. It might not be enough to be an option in standard formats, but he could be worth a flyer as a waiver pickup in deeper leagues.

Goal, assist in Wednesday's win
Jensen scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.
Impact
Jensen had gone four games without a point prior to Wednesday. The 35-year-old defenseman is up to three goals, 12 points, 30 shots on net, 43 blocked shots, 27 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 44 appearances. He's been given two games off since the holiday break, one of which was in a back-to-back set. It looks like the Senators will manage Jensen's workload a bit, at least while the team is fully healthy on the blue line.

Rare goal in win
Jensen scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.
Impact
Jensen was a healthy scratch Monday versus the Blue Jackets. Prior to that, he had logged a mere four assists over 20 contests since his Nov. 11 goal versus the Stars. The defenseman has been limited to a bottom-four role this season, which makes it hard for him to be a regular on the scoresheet. He's at nine points, 24 shots on net, 38 blocked shots, 26 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 38 appearances. Jensen is at risk of missing the 20-point mark for the second time in three years.
