Agrees to one-year deal Foligno signed a one-year, $900,000 contract with the Wild on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Impact Foligno had four goals, 15 points, 44 PIM, 129 hits and 33 blocks in 54 regular-season appearances between Chicago and Minnesota in 2025-26. The 38-year-old will probably open 2026-27 on the Wild's fourth line, but he's capable of shifting to a middle-six role if injuries warrant the change.

Impact Foligno scored twice in the first period, but the Wild weren't able to maintain their early lead. The 38-year-old earned three points, 10 shots on net, 37 hits, six PIM and a plus-2 rating over 11 playoff outings. He's set for unrestricted free agency this summer, but it's not year clear if the veteran winger will continue his career.

The 38-year-old winger has just four goals and 14 points in 53 contests on the season, and even his physical edge is fading -- his 126 hits is his lowest total since 2012-13, when he managed 99 in 45 games for the Blue Jackets.
