Axel Jonsson-Fjallby - Called up Wednesday Jonsson-Fjallby was called up from AHL Manitoba on Wednesday.

Impact Rasmus Kupari (shoulder) went on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Jonsson-Fjallby's first game will be his NHL season debut. He collected 14 points over 50 games for the Jets last year, playing most often in a fourth-line role that he'll likely occupy if he gets into the lineup.

Impact Kupari is set to miss 4-6 weeks after sustaining the injury Tuesday versus the Devils, so this move is more of a formality. Axel Jonsson-Fjallby was called up from AHL Manitoba to replace Kupari on the active roster.

Gabriel Vilardi - Might practice next week Vilardi (knee) isn't ready to participate in practices, but that's expected to change next week, John Lu of TSN reports Wednesday.

Impact Vilardi hasn't played since Oct. 17 because of the injury. He has an assist in three contests this year. Vilardi should slot into a middle-six role and receive power-play ice time once he's cleared to return.

Rasmus Kupari - Will miss 4-6 weeks Kupari (shoulder) is facing a 4-6 week absence according to associate coach Scott Arniel, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports Wednesday.

Impact Kupari is currently mired in a 13-game pointless streak and has yet to find the back of the net this season. As such, his extended absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy players. David Gustafsson figures to slot into a fourth-line role with Kupari on the shelf. Given his extended layoff, Kupari will almost certainly find himself on injured reserve in the coming days.
