Impact Allen has played in four of the Devils' last nine outings, posting a 3-1-0 record, 1.77 GAA and .943 save percentage. With New Jersey entering a back-to-back, fantasy players can likely expect Jacob Markstrom to get the starting nod on the road versus Minnesota on Saturday. If Allen can continue to string together some victories, he could see increased opportunities down the stretch.

Impact Tatar ended a 10-game point drought with the helper on Nathan Bastian's first-period tally. During the slump, Tatar went minus-5 with 10 shots on net and 12 hits, and he was scratched once. The 34-year-old has 16 points, 62 shots on net, 51 hits and a minus-1 rating over 66 appearances. He has minimal fantasy upside, especially in a fourth-line role that he's not guaranteed to hold onto for the rest of the campaign.

Nathan Bastian - Opens scoring in win Bastian scored a goal on two shots and added six hits in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Bastian was scratched Monday versus the Canucks, but he got back in the lineup with Cody Glass (undisclosed) sidelined. The 27-year-old Bastian has been a regular in the Devils' lineup, but the team also has 15 healthy forwards on the roster, so he may sit out on occasion down the stretch. He's at four goals, 10 points, 43 shots on net, 122 hits, 29 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 54 outings this season.

Ondrej Palat - Scores shortie Wednesday Palat scored a shorthanded goal in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact This was Palat's second game back after he missed two contests due to a lower-body injury. He was able to snap an 11-game goal drought when he scored at 3:14 of the second period to give the Devils a 3-1 lead. The winger is up to 14 goals, 26 points, 87 shots on net, 113 hits, 52 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 69 appearances this season. He's often played in a middle-six role, but he's been on the top line recently, though he's more of a supporting scorer than a leader on offense.

Stefan Noesen - Reaches 20-goal mark for first time Noesen scored an empty-net goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Noesen's goal-scoring has dried up significantly with just four tallies in 31 games since the start of January. Still, even with the slump, he was able to secure the first 20-goal campaign of his career with his empty-netter Wednesday. He's also matched his career high with 37 points while adding 150 shots on net, 137 hits, 52 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 71 appearances. Noesen is likely to spend much of his time in a middle-six role, though a spot on the second power-play unit has helped him generate more offense.

Jesper Bratt - Two-point effort in win Bratt notched two assists, one on the power play and one shorthanded, in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Chicago.
Impact Both helpers came in the second period, as Bratt had a hand in Ondrej Palat's shortie and Dawson Mercer's eventual game-winner. Bratt has gotten onto the scoresheet in seven of the last eight games, erupting for three goals and 14 points over that span, and the 26-year-old has established a new career high with 84 points (20 goals, 64 assists) on the season.

Nico Hischier - Two helpers in Chicago Hischier picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Chicago.
Impact The 26-year-old center extended his point streak to eight games when he helped set up the first of two Dawson Mercer tallies early in the first period, and Hischier then fed Stefan Noesen for an empty-netter late in the third. Hischier has stepped up in a big way since Jack Hughes (shoulder) was lost for the season -- in 11 contests since Hughes went down, Hischier has five goals and 12 points, including four goals and two assists with the man advantage.

Dawson Mercer - Lights lamp twice in win Mercer scored two power-play goals, one the game-winner, in Wednesday's 5-3 victory over Chicago.
Impact The 23-year-old ended a seven-game goal drought when he slipped a puck past Spencer Knight early in the first period, and Mercer then gave the Devils a 4-2 lead with a quick shot through a screen in the second. Mercer's up to 17 goals on the season, giving him nine more games to reach 20 for the third straight campaign.

Impact The 21-year-old continues to thrive as the Devils' No. defenseman in the absence of Dougie Hamilton (lower body). Hughes has five multi-point performances in 11 games since Hamilton was lost for the season, racking up a goal and 12 points over that stretch with seven of his helpers coming on the power play.

Jacob Markstrom - Back in win column Markstrom turned aside 21 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Chicago.
Impact The Devils grabbed an early 2-0 lead with goals 27 seconds apart in the first period, and Markstrom made sure the home squad was never able to draw level. It's only the second win in March for the veteran netminder, who's gone 2-5-1 in his last eight starts with a 3.87 GAA and .847 save percentage. New Jersey is comfortably in a playoff spot -- they're nine points clear of the Islanders for third place in the Metropolitan Division -- so Markstrom should get every opportunity down the stretch to regain his form ahead of the postseason.
