Canadiens take on the Lightning on 5-game winning streak

The Montreal Canadiens seek to keep a five-game win streak alive when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning
MARCH 30 • Associated Press
Justin Barron - Bags apple Sunday Barron notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning.
Impact Barron was scratched three times recently, but he's been back in the lineup for the last two games. He stayed in over Ryan Ufko for Sunday's contest after the Predators dressed seven blueliners Saturday versus the Canadiens. Barron has three assists over 12 outings in March and is up to eight helpers, 26 shots on net, 31 hits, 47 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 44 appearances this season.

Adam Wilsby - Snags helper Sunday Wilsby logged an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning.
Impact This was Wilsby's first point in five contests since he returned from a 10-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old defenseman has stayed in the lineup since he returned, mainly playing in a third-pairing role. He's now at 13 points, 50 shots on net, 39 blocked shots, 21 hits, 29 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 50 appearances this season.

Corey Perry - Scores winning goal Sunday Perry scored a goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Impact Perry delivered the game-winner for the Bolts at the 6:52 mark of the final frame with a snap shot. Even though the veteran forward doesn't have the role he had in his prime, he remains a capable performer. He's up to four goals and six points in 13 games since being acquired by Tampa Bay from Los Angeles midway through the season. This was his 15th overall goal in 63 appearances.

Brandon Hagel - Scores 35th goal of season Hagel scored a goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Impact Hagel found the back of the net at the 4:33 mark of the final frame, giving the Lightning a transitory 2-1 lead, although the Bolts would end up winning thanks to a later goal from Corey Perry. Hagel has matched the best goal tally of his career, set across 82 regular-season games in 2024-25, though he's unlikely to reach the 90-point threshold he did then. Over 68 regular-season contests, Hagel has notched 73 points (35 goals and 38 assists) in 2025-26. He's also on quite a scoring roll since he's found the back of the net in three of his last four appearances.

Jake Guentzel - Three-point performance Sunday Guentzel recorded a goal and two assists in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Impact Guentzel scored Tampa Bay's first goal with a wrister at the 13:32 mark of the second period, but he also assisted on the subsequent goals scored by Brandon Hagel and Corey Perry. Guentzel has found the back of the net in four games in a row and six of his last seven, and he's up to 35 goals and 45 assists in 72 games. This is just the third season in his career that he has reached the 80-point threshold, and he looks within reach of setting a new career-best mark in points. His current career high is 84 points, established in 76 regular-season games with the Penguins in 2021-22.
