Signs with Czech club Blumel signed a four-year contract with HC Sparta Praha on Wednesday.

Impact Blumel's decision to ink such a long contract likely marks the end of his NHL career. If that's the case, the 26-year-old winger will end up having played in 17 regular-season games for the Stars and Bruins in which he tallied two goals, 21 shots and 15 hits.
