Impact Kastelic will miss his sixth straight game due to his lingering undisclosed injury. The 25-year-old center has been practicing in a regular sweater but is running out of time to suit up before the NHL shuts down for the 4 Nations Face-Off. The Arizona native was mired in a 23-game goal drought -- his last marker before Thursday was in a 4-3 win over Toronto on Oct. 26. Kastelic is known for his physical play, but he's offered solid depth production in 2024-25 with four goals and 11 points through 33 games. The 25-year-old is one point shy of setting a new career high.

Impact Kastelic has three helpers over four games in December after going without a point in November. The 25-year-old power forward has been a physical force this season with 115 hits through 28 contests, and he's also collected 10 points to put himself one shy of his career high. He's added 50 PIM, 27 shots on net and a plus-8 rating. Kastelic's consistency is still a little shaky, but he appears set to have something of a breakout year, with enough physicality to carry value in deeper formats.
