Fleury will get the starting nod on the road versus Montreal on Thursday, Kevin Falness of KFAN reports.

Fleury will guard the cage against his hometown club for the final time on his retirement tour. The 40-year-old backstop has put up solid numbers this year, going 10-5-1 with a 2.76 GAA and .904 save percentage. Burned by Flames on Saturday
Fleury turned aside 24 shots in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Calgary.
Impact
Two of the Flames' goals came on power plays and he had little chance on two others, but Fleury's reflexes betrayed him on Andrei Kuzmenko's game-winner in the third period, as he went into his butterfly a fraction of a second early and couldn't recover in time to get to the far post on a wraparound. Fleury has dropped two of his last three decisions, giving up five goals in each, but the 40-year-old future Hall of Famer has shown he still has something left in the tank while seeing a fairly heavy workload in January, going 4-2-0 in six starts with a 2.67 GAA and .915 save percentage.

Allows one goal in win
Fleury turned aside 26 of 27 shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.
Impact
Although Filip Gustavsson (illness) was available as a backup Monday, Fleury drew a second consecutive start and turned things around after he allowed five goals on 37 shots (.865 save percentage) in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Predators. Fleury has now picked up wins in four of his last five outings and has seen more time between the pipes recently. The Wild will have a few days off before facing Utah at home Thursday.

Starting in Colorado
Fleury will defend the road net versus the Avalanche on Monday, according to Joe Smith of The Athletic.
Impact
Fleury allowed five goals on 37 shots in Saturday's loss to Nashville. Following a one-game absence, Filip Gustavsson (illness) will return to the lineup in the backup role. The Wild will wait a little longer before getting Gustavsson back between the pipes because he hasn't skated in a few days. Fleury has a 9-4-1 record with a 2.72 GAA and a .906 save percentage in 15 appearances this season. Colorado sits fifth in the league with 3.36 goals per game in 2024-25.

Struggles in Saturday's loss
Fleury allowed five goals on 37 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Predators. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact
Fleury had one his worst performances of the season. He allowed more goals in this contest than he did over his first three games in January combined. The 40-year-old netminder slipped to 9-4-1 with a 2.72 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 15 games. Filip Gustavsson (illness) was unavailable to play Saturday but was penciled in to start Monday against the Avalanche. If Gustavsson can't play in that contest, Fleury would likely get the nod again.

Stellar in win
Fleury stopped 36 of 37 shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sharks.
Impact
Fleury had been battling an illness earlier in the week, but he was able to handle the goaltending duties for the first half of a back-to-back. The Sharks actually put forth a pretty good effort, but Fleury was up to the task, allowing just a William Eklund tally in the second period. This was Fleury's third straight win, and he's allowed just four goals on 83 shots in that span, which includes one relief appearance. He's now 9-3-1 with a 2.54 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 14 appearances. Filip Gustavsson is likely to start Sunday in Vegas, but he's been struggling lately, which could open the door for Fleury to see a larger share of starts if those struggles persist.

Expected to serve as backup
Fleury (illness) took the ice for warmups and is expected to serve as the backup goalie for Thursday's home game against the Avalanche, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Fleury was deemed questionable to suit up Thursday, but the Wild's organizational goaltending depth is in dire straits with injuries to Jesper Wallstedt (undisclosed) and Dylan Ferguson (undisclosed). As such, Fleury will attempt to power through -- he likely won't make an appearance unless Filip Gustavsson gets hurt.

Questionable Thursday
Fleury is suffering from an illness and is questionable to back up Filip Gustavsson on Thursday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.
Impact
The Wild face Colorado at home and if Fleury is unable to dress, look for Jesper Wallstedt to be recalled as the Wild's second goaltender. Fleury has won his last two games, including making all 15 saves in relief of Gustavsson on Tuesday in a 6-4 win over St. Louis. Overall, Fleury is 8-3-1 with a 2.67 GAA and a .903 save percentage over 13 appearances in 2024-25. Consider him day-to-day at this time.

Earns win in relief Tuesday
Fleury played in relief and stopped each of the 15 shots he faced to earn the win in Tuesday's 6-4 victory over the Blues.
Impact
Fleury stepped onto the ice and saved the day for the Wild, as he looked impressive between the pipes and allowed Minnesota to mount a comeback. This was Fleury's second straight win, and even though he's firmly in a backup role behind Filip Gustavsson, he has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.59 GAA over his last five appearances.
