Impact Called up from AHL Providence on Wednesday, Reichel made an immediate impact in his Bruins debut -- he jumped on a loose puck and chipped it home early in the second period after Connor Hellebuyck had mis-handled it behind his own net, giving Boston a 2-0 lead. Reichel, the 17th overall pick in the 2020 Draft by Chicago, is on his third NHL team, but it's been a few years since the 23-year-old displayed much offensive consistency even at the AHL level. Despite Thursday's performance, it's not clear how long he'll be with the big club before heading back down.

Impact Reichel was acquired by Boston from Vancouver on March 6. He has seven goals and 18 points in 26 appearances between AHL Providence and Abbotsford in 2025-26. He also has two goals and five points across 19 outings with Vancouver and Chicago this campaign.

Impact Reichel was acquired by the Bruins at the trade deadline. He's produced five points in two outings for Providence since the start. He's earned 18 points in 25 contests in the AHL as well as five points in 19 NHL games between Vancouver and Chicago in a season that's seen him dealt twice. Impact Reichel has played the bulk of his games in the minors this season, logging 23 contests for AHL Abbotsford in which he tallied six goals and seven helpers. Still, the 23-year-old German has plenty of NHL experience, having suited up in 188 regular-season games for the Blackhawks and Canucks. For now, Reichel will remain in the minors but could be called up for the stretch run.

Two-point effort in loss Reichel scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Germany's 6-2 loss to Slovakia in the quarterfinals of the Olympic men's hockey tournament Wednesday.

Impact The 23-year-old Canucks winger couldn't prevent Germany from getting eliminated, but Reichel came up with his best performance of the tournament when it mattered most. Reichel recorded two goals and three points in five games during his first Olympics, and he'll head back to AHL Abbotsford to resume his season.

Tallies twice in AHL loss Reichel scored two goals in AHL Abbotsford's 3-2 loss to Bakersfield on Saturday.

Impact Reichel has earned 10 points over 19 outings with the Canucks' AHL affiliate. The 23-year-old was waived to the AHL after recording just one assist in 14 games with Vancouver following a trade from the Blackhawks. It doesn't seem likely Reichel will work his way into a regular NHL job for the Canucks.

Impact The helper was Reichel's first point in eight games since he was acquired from the Blackhawks. He had four points over five outings prior to the trade. While Reichel hasn't done much on offense for the Canucks, he has bolstered the team's center depth, though he's been at or above 50 percent on faceoffs in just three of his eight contests with his new club. Impact Reichel hasn't developed as Chicago hoped after the Blackhawks took him with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft. He recorded just 16 points in 65 outings and 22 points in 70 appearances in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 regular seasons, respectively. The 23-year-old Reichel does have two goals and four points in five appearances this year, but that's due to a three-point showing against St. Louis on Oct. 15, and he's followed that up with an assist across his past four outings. Reichel will probably start his Vancouver tenure in a bottom-six role, but the change of scenery will help gradually unlock some of his offensive potential.
