Thompson has been a bit inconsistent on a game-to-game basis, though, but his peripheral stats have looked better than this win-loss record. He's lost six of his nine starts in January, going 3-5-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .910 save percentage. As such, fantasy managers should continue to trust Thompson, who seems to have established himself as the Capitals' No. 1 goaltender ahead of Charlie Lindgren.
