Set to attend training camp with Vegas Piiparinen was recalled from Tappara of Liiga on Monday.

Impact Piiparinen was selected by the Golden Knights with the 29th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, and he'll attend training camp with Vegas ahead of the 2026-27 season. He made 29 regular-season appearances for Tappara last year, recording three assists, eight PIM and a plus-6 rating. Even if he doesn't make the Golden Knights' Opening Night roster, his participation in training camp should give him an opportunity to develop among some of the team's top talent.

Signs entry-level deal Piiparinen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights on Wednesday.

Impact Piiparinen had three assists in 28 regular-season appearances with Tappara of the Finnish league in 2025-26. He'll probably continue to play in Finland for now, but he does have the potential to eventually develop into a defenseman who could see regular time with the Golden Knights. Vegas selected him with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
