Earns three points in win Morrissey scored a power-play goal, added two assists and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blues.

Impact The first of Morrissey's two helpers also came on the power play. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to impress with four goals and eight helpers over 11 outings in January. He reached the 10-goal mark Tuesday and is at 42 points (12 on the power play), 87 shots on net, 85 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-14 rating across 49 appearances this season.

Impact The star blueliner gave the Jets a 3-0 lead when he ripped a one-timer past Jesper Wallstedt with just three seconds left in the first period. Morrissey has come firing out of the gates in January, getting onto the scoresheet in seven of eight games this month and producing three goals and nine points, and Thursday's GWG was his first of the season.

Impact Morrissey's strong start to January continues -- he has two goals and five assists over seven contests so far this month. His tally put the Jets ahead 2-0 in the second period. Morrissey is at eight goals, 37 points, 80 shots on net, 80 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-12 rating over 45 appearances. He's on pace to top the 60-point mark for a fourth consecutive season, and he could flirt with 70 if he stays consistent.

Sparks comeback win Sunday Morrissey produced two assists in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Impact With the Jets down 3-2 late in the second period, Morrissey got to work. He had a hand in the tying goal by Gabriel Vilardi just before the second intermission, before feeding Tanner Pearson for the game-winner early in the third. It was Morrissey's first multi-point performance since Dec. 13, and through 44 contests this season the star blueliner has seven goals and 36 points.
