Second straight OT loss Woll made 37 saves in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact The Flyers were out-shot 40-18 on the night, so Woll did well just to earn the Flyers a point, but there wasn't much he could do on a Carolina power play in OT. The former Toronto netminder has started two of Philly's first three games, which could be due to the upper-body injury Dan Vladar dealt with late in the preseason, and Woll has had to settle for OTLs while allowing three goals in each outing.

Tending twine Saturday Woll will patrol the home crease against Carolina on Saturday, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Impact Woll will get a second straight start after he stopped 41 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to New Jersey. Carolina (0-1-1) has struggled offensively at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign, scoring only two goals in two games.

Pelted with pucks in team debut Woll made 41 saves in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils on Thursday.

Impact Woll saw a lot of pucks in his Flyers debut and was strong all night, especially when fending off all four Devils power plays. He will play second fiddle to Dan Vladar in the Philly net, but Woll has the talent to turn this into a true tandem if he can stay healthy.

Set to make Flyers debut Woll will defend the road crease in Thursday's matchup against New Jersey, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Impact Woll is in line to make his regular-season debut with the Flyers on Thursday after he was traded to Philadelphia from Toronto in the offseason. The 28-year-old backstop had a rough go of things in 2025-26, where he posted a 15-16-7 record, a 3.34 GAA and an .898 save percentage across 39 regular-season outings. It was his lone year above three goals allowed per game, so expect him to bounce back in some capacity. Woll will likely be the No. 2 netminder in Philadelphia for the 2026-27 season unless Dan Vladar's struggles from Opening Night persist. Woll is a solid streaming option in fantasy for the time being.

Logs preseason shutout Woll recorded a 28-save shutout in Thursday's 2-0 preseason win over the Bruins.

Impact Woll is ready for the regular season. The 28-year-old may have a little more work early in the year if Dan Vladar (upper body) is unavailable to begin 2026-27. Woll has taken on a tandem role in the past, playing in a total of 81 games over the last two regular seasons with Toronto.

Between the pipes Thursday Woll will defend the home goal in Thursday's preseason contest against the Bruins, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Impact Head coach Rick Tocchet stated that Woll will likely play the entirety of Thursday's contest. Woll's appearance on Thursday will be his second of the preseason after he allowed three goals in a 5-2 loss to the Capitals. The 28-year-old netminder had an up-and-down campaign in 2025-26, where he posted a 15-16-7 record, a 3.34 GAA and an .898 save percentage across 39 regular-season outings. With Dan Vladar (lower body) leaving Tuesday's exhibition with an upper-body injury, Woll's chances of starting the Flyers' opening night contest have slightly increased. However, he will likely serve as the No. 2 option once Vladar is good to go.

Allows three goals in road exhibition game Woll conceded three goals on 19 shots in Monday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Capitals.

Impact Woll will probably play in more game before the start of the regular season -- the Flyers' preseason schedule wraps up Saturday against the Capitals. The Missouri native is set to work as the No. 2 option behind Dan Vladar this season, but it could be a closer split than most would expect to keep both netminders fresh.
