INJURIES

Signs two-way deal Harkins signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Lightning on Friday.
Impact Harkins had three goals, eight points, 28 PIM and 113 hits in 44 regular-season appearances with Anaheim in 2025-26. He also had five goals and 17 points in 11 regular-season outings with AHL San Diego last campign. The 29-year-old isn't guaranteed a bottom-six spot with the Lightning, but he should at least get an opportunity to earn that position during training camp.

Scores empty-netter in return Harkins scored an empty-net goal and added four hits in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 2.
Impact Harkins had missed the last 18 games while recovering from hand surgery. He had been a full participant during the Ducks' practices during the playoffs, so it is likely he was a healthy scratch for at least some of the last seven contests before drawing in Wednesday. Harkins' tally provided some insurance for the Ducks, and it gave him the second playoff goal in five outings in his career. He was held to eight points over 44 regular-season appearances and is likely to remain in a bottom-six role as long as he holds a place in the lineup.

Option for second round Harkins (hand) appears available to play in the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs against Vegas, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune on Monday.
Impact Harkins has been a full participant in practices during the playoffs, but he hasn't played since March 24 against Vancouver. Despite being an option to play against the Golden Knights on Monday in Game 1, Harkins is in line to be a healthy scratch.

Full participant at morning skate Harkins (hand) was a full participant in Friday's morning skate, but he won't suit up for Game 3 versus the Oilers, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Impact Harkins is quickly approaching the four-week mark in his recovery from hand surgery, which was his expected timetable. His full participation Friday is a positive sign, though at this time, it's not clear if he'll be cleared to play before the end of the first round. The Ducks may also opt to keep him in the press box if the bottom six continues to be effective as it is currently composed. Harkins is also competing with Ross Johnston (lower body) to get into the lineup once both are clear of their injuries.

Undergoes hand surgery Harkins had hand surgery Monday and is expected to miss about four weeks, the team announced Tuesday.
Impact Harkins has already missed the last three games and won't be an option for the remainder of the regular season. Assuming the Ducks secure a playoff berth, it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He will conclude the 2025-26 regular season with three goals, eight points, 37 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 113 hits in 44 appearances.
MARCH 31 • ROTOWIRE
Remains out Monday Harkins (upper body) will miss Monday's home clash against the Maple Leafs, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Impact Harkins returned to Anaheim during Anaheim's recent three-game road trip after exiting Tuesday's contest in Vancouver. He'll miss his third consecutive game and will likely carry the questionable tag headed into Wednesday's road game in San Jose unless he can make progress in practice. Overall, the 28-year-old forward has eight points, 37 shots on net, 113 hits and 24 blocked shots across 44 games this season.
MARCH 31 • ROTOWIRE
Leaves road trip Harkins (upper body) has left the Ducks' road trip to return to Anaheim for further evaluation on his injury, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports Thursday.
Impact This suggests Harkins will miss a second game Saturday versus the Oilers, which is the final contest of the trip. Pending further information, Harkins is day-to-day, with his status for Monday versus the Maple Leafs still to be determined.
MARCH 27 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play versus Flames Harkins (upper body) will not be in the lineup to face Calgary on Thursday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Impact Harkins is currently mired in a 26-game goal drought during which he registered a mere 24 shots while chipping in five helpers. Given his lack of offensive upside, few fantasy managers figure to be impacted by the 28-year-old center's potential absence. Nathan Gaucher could step into a fourth-line role in Harkins' absence.
MARCH 26 • ROTOWIRE
Exits Tuesday's game Harkins (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Canucks.
Impact Harkins took just three shifts in this contest prior to his injury. If he can't play Thursday versus the Flames, Frank Vatrano or Ross Johnston will replace him in the lineup.
