On non-roster injured reserve Jenik (undisclosed) was placed on non-roster injured reserve by Los Angeles on Thursday, per Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider.

Impact Jenik had nine goals, 17 points and 29 PIM in 43 AHL regular-season outings between Belleville and Ontario in 2025-26. He will probably be sent to the minors once he's recovered from his injury.

Battling injury Jenik (undisclosed) is designated with an injury on the training camp roster the Kings released Wednesday.

Impact It's unclear what Jenik is dealing with at this time. The 26-year-old forward was dealt to the Kings in March in a minor-league trade, and he's expected to spend most or all of 2026-27 in the AHL with Ontario. He had 17 points in 43 regular-season AHL games last year.

Remaining with Los Angeles Jenik signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Kings on Wednesday.

Impact Jenik was traded to the Kings from the Senators in March, and he'll remain with Los Angeles for at least one more season. Across 43 regular-season AHL appearances between Belleville and Ontario last year, he recorded nine goals, eight assists and 29 PIM.

Heading west in trade Jenik was traded to the Kings from the Senators on Thursday in exchange for Samuel Bolduc.

Impact Jenik is set to be a Group 6 unrestricted free agent after this season, since he will not have enough NHL games to be a restricted free agent. He is not eligible to play for the Kings for the rest of 2025-26 since this trade came after the NHL's trade deadline. Jenik will report to AHL Ontario after producing 17 points in 41 contests with AHL Belleville before the trade.

On waivers for AHL assignment Jenik has been put on waivers by the Senators for the purpose of assignment to AHL Belleville, the team announced Sunday.

Impact Jenik was among the final round of roster cuts by the Senators and will likely begin the season with AHL Belleville. The 25-year-old was a fixture there last year, scoring 12 goals and adding 17 assists in in 52 games with the team. He will likely be one of the first call-up options for the Senators should the need for a forward arise in-season.

Impact Jenik appeared in two regular-season games with Ottawa last campaign, posting two hits and a minus-1 rating. Impact Jenik saw action in just five NHL games for the Coyotes last season, tallying one assist, six hits and two shots while averaging a mere 8:23 of ice time. The 23-year-old center will get a new start with the Senators after the organization acquired him in a minor-league swap from Utah HC on Wednesday. Still, even with his new team, the Czech will likely be hard-pressed to secure regular minutes at the NHL level and figures to spend the bulk of the campaign in the minors.
