Nets lone goal in blowout loss Fleury scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Flyers.

Impact Fleury's tally came at 6:57 of the first period to tie the game at 1-1, but the Flyers responded with two goals over the next two minutes and never looked back. The 29-year-old blueliner has a point in each of his last two games. He's at four points, 24 shots on net, 51 hits, 55 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating over 36 appearances this season. Fleury has successfully kept Ville Heinola out of the lineup even after the Jets traded away Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn ahead of the trade deadline.

Impact The stay-at-home defenseman produced his first points of the season in his 25th game, while his first-period goal marked the first time he'd lit the lamp in the NHL since Dec. 19, 2023 -- coincidentally, also against St. Louis as part of a two-point performance. Fleury has been getting a regular shift in March after Winnipeg dealt away Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn at the trade deadline, and over eight games this month he's produced 17 hits, nine blocked shots, eight shots on net and a minus-3 rating.

Impact Fleury hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 19 because of the injury. He has no points, six PIM, 11 shots, 23 hits and 26 blocks in 17 outings with the Jets in 2025-26. Ville Heinola might be a healthy scratch Sunday or even reassigned to AHL Manitoba due to Fleury's return.

Considered week-to-week Head coach Scott Arniel said Wednesday that Fleury (upper body) is considered week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Impact Fleury has spent the past week on injured reserve, and he doesn't appear to be particularly close to returning to game action. He was taken off the ice on a stretcher during last week's game against the Golden Knights and subsequently hospitalized, but he was released from the hospital and returned to team meetings a day later. It's not yet clear whether Fleury will be in the mix to suit up for games before the Olympic break in February.
