Nets goal in return
Landeskog scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.
Impact
Landeskog missed the previous seven contests due to a lower-body injury. He's taken more than his share of knocks in his comeback campaign, but he's still produced 10 goals, 30 points, 106 shots on net, 69 hits, 37 PIM and a plus-27 rating over 48 appearances. Landeskog would appear to be a top candidate to be rested if the Avalanche are able to secure the Presidents' Trophy early, but he's likely to be productive when in the lineup.

Set to return Sunday
Landeskog (lower body) will return to the lineup Sunday against the Capitals, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Impact
Landeskog has missed the last seven games due to injury and 21 total on the season, but the Avalanche will now have him back for the stretch run of the regular season. The 33-year-old has 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) in 47 games on the year. He will likely slip right back into his role as a top-six forward and power-play fixture starting with Sunday's battle with the Capitals.

Deemed week-to-week
Landeskog (lower body) is week-to-week and won't play against Minnesota on Sunday.
Impact
Landeskog had two goals and five assists in six appearances after returning from the 2026 Winter Olympics, where he played for Team Sweden. He missed 14 straight NHL games before representing his country in the tournament because of an upper-body injury. Landeskog has nine goals, 29 points, 104 shots on net and 66 hits across 47 outings this season.

Adds insurance tally
Landeskog scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Ducks.
Impact
Landeskog has gotten on the scoresheet in four of five games since the Olympics, earning two goals and four assists. The 33-year-old winger tallied an insurance goal in the third period of this contest. He's up to nine goals, 28 points, 102 shots on net, 64 hits, 35 PIM and a plus-25 rating over 46 appearances. Landeskog is currently on the top line, so he's definitely worth rostering in nearly all fantasy formats.

Pots goal, assists twice
Landeskog scored a goal and added two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Impact
Landeskog made his presence felt early, setting up Nathan MacKinnon's goal and later adding a tally of his own in the first period. He'd later close things out when assisting Martin Necas' power-play empty-netter in the dying moments of the game. Landeskog only has eight goals and 27 points across 45 regular-season appearances this season, but he should continue to have upside as long as he remains in the first line of the Avs' offense next to MacKinnon and Necas.

Impact

Cleared for Olympics
Landeskog (upper body) has been cleared to participate in the Olympics for Team Sweden, Shawn Roarke of NHL.com reports.
Impact
After appearing in every game to start the season, Landeskog missed the final 14 games before the Olympic break with injury. The good news is that he has been cleared in time for the start of the Olympic tournament. The 33-year-old, named captain for Team Sweden, has 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in 41 games for the Avalanche on the season.

Doubtful Wednesday
Landeskog (upper body) is doubtful for Wednesday's matchup with the Sharks but is still expected to play in the Olympics, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports.
Impact
Landeskog has already been out of action for the Avs' last 12 games and looks set to miss at least two more. Prior to getting hurt, the Swede had notched six points in his previous seven outings. Assuming he gets into the lineup for the Tre Kronor, Landeskog should be ready to go for Colorado coming out of the Olympic break.
