Joins Jersey on one-year deal Dadnov signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Devils, the team announced Tuesday.

Impact Dadonov's contract is only a $1 million base salary, but does contain performance bonuses that could increase the value of the contract. The 36-year-old spent the last two full seasons with the Stars, and he is coming off of his first 20-goal season since 2021-22. He will hope to bring that depth scoring to the Devils, likely in a middle-six role.

Impact Dadonov saw just 8:44 of ice time Wednesday. He has seen his ice time slip in the playoffs, and the return of Jason Robertson (knee) will make it tougher for Dadonov to see more minutes. Impact Dadonov has four goals over seven contests in April, though that's with a hat trick versus the Penguins on April 5. The 36-year-old has filled in as a top-six winger while Mason Marchment (illness) has been out late in the campaign. Dadonov reached the 20-goal mark for the fifth time in his career and has also achieved a 40-point campaign through 79 outings. Interestingly enough, his last six points have all come on the road, with Dallas playing 12 total contests in that span, including eight away from American Airlines Center. The veteran winger has been a reliable depth scorer in 2024-25 with 35 points, 106 shots on net and a plus-11 rating across 64 appearances. However, the Stars' significant forward depth means he'll likely finish the regular season in a bottom-six role at even strength.
