Darnell Nurse - Chips in with helper Nurse recorded an assist, blocked four shots and served two PIM in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Impact Nurse played a hand in Connor McDavid's shorthanded goal to help build a two-goal lead early in the third period. With the apple, Nurse now has seven assists, 13 points, 77 shots on goal, 49 hits and 79 blocks through 35 games this season. While his contributions offensively have been inconsistent since the start of November, the 30-year-old defenseman has three points in his last five games to go along with his strong category coverage. He currently ranks sixth in the NHL in blocks, trailing Toronto's Jake McCabe by seven blocks for the league lead. Nurse's all-around production gives him viability at a high level in nearly all fantasy formats. Look for him to make a push for his eighth consecutive season with 30 points or more.

Impact Jones ricocheted a shot off Boston netminder Jeremy Swayman that led to Jones' new linemate, Quinn Hutson, scoring on the rebound for his first NHL goal. With the helper, Jones notched his first point of the season to go along with three shots on goal, six hits and a block through two games. His ice time has been held to less than six minutes in each of his two outings, capping his offensive potential from a checking-line role for the Oilers. When he does play, he offers a nice blend of category coverage stats, given the small sample size.

Quinn Hutson - Scores first NHL goal Hutson scored a goal and blocked a shot in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Impact Hutson made Thursday night's game one to remember when he backhanded a rebounded shot attempt from Max Jones into the back of the net for the go-ahead goal. Hutson's twine finder was his first goal and point at the NHL level in just four games across the past two seasons. The 23-year-old right winger will be an intriguing depth option for the Oilers moving forward as he showcased his point-scoring skills through 24 games with AHL Bakersfield this season, notching 28 tallies. However, he has seen under seven minutes of ice time in each of his two appearances this season, leaving room to grow before he cracks fantasy lineups.

Leon Draisaitl - Adds helper on power play Draisaitl tallied an assist and fired four shots on net in Thursday's 3-1 win over Boston.
Impact Draisaitl notched a secondary helper on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' power-play goal in the first period to put Edmonton on the board. With the apple, Draisaitl is up to 31 assists, 48 points and 93 shots on net through 35 games this season. While he hasn't found the back of the net in his last six games, the 30-year-old superstar has been a phenomenal playmaker during that stretch with 11 assists. He has quietly jumped up to fourth across the league in points and is a shoo-in for the century mark, barring injury. His plethora of offensive contributions over the past few weeks has Edmonton back in a playoff spot in the Pacific Division, which should lead to more high-level play from Draisaitl over the coming months.

Connor McDavid - Point streak at eight games McDavid netted a shorthanded goal, distributed a power-play assist and put three shots on net in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Impact McDavid excelled on special teams in Thursday's game, as he helped out on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' power-play goal before later scoring himself with the Oilers at a man disadvantage. With the pair of points, McDavid is up to 21 goals, 37 assists and 111 shots on net across 35 games this season. The 28-year-old superstar is currently riding an eight-game point streak where he has posted a multi-point effort in all but one outing. His 22-point, eight-game stretch has helped him catch Nathan MacKinnon atop the NHL point leaderboard, making the race for the Hart Trophy much more interesting. While MacKinnon likely leads the race with his plus-43 rating opposed to McDavid's plus-one, the latter has been the stronger point scorer since the start of November, giving both an early avenue to the award.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Opens scoring on power play Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal, dished out an assist, put three shots on goal and had two hits in Thursday's 3-1 win over Boston.
Impact Nugent-Hopkins put the Oilers on the board with his power-play goal near the 13-minute mark of the first period. With the twine finder, he is up to eight goals, 27 points and 41 shots on net through 26 games this season. The 32-year-old forward has three multi-point efforts over his last 10 games, which have helped him get on track to surpass his offensive output from a season ago. If he can stay healthy, Nugent-Hopkins should continue to add to Edmonton's strong top line and first power-play unit, giving him a chance to reach the 60-point mark for the fifth time in his 15-year career. He has good value in most point-based fantasy formats.

Impact Pickard entered the game near the end of the second period in relief of Tristan Jarry, who left the game with an apparent lower-body injury. Pickard made the most of his chance, as he blanked the Bruins throughout his time in the crease Thursday. Despite not playing enough for the win, the 33-year-old netminder used his performance to boost his season stats to an .857 save percentage and a 3.91 GAA through 12 appearances. With Jarry's status unknown, Pickard could potentially receive an uptick in playing time moving forward. However, he remains an unreliable option in fantasy until he can post consecutive wins this season. His next chance to take the ice is Saturday in Minnesota.
