Impact Shine has been excellent for AHL Grand Rapids this season, ranking second on the team with 27 points over 26 games. That hasn't led to a call-up yet, but the two-year extension suggests that he'll be in the Red Wings' plans in the short term. He had one assist over his first nine NHL games in 2024-25.
