GAME LOG

INJURIES

Cashes in on power play Yurov scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 4.
Impact Yurov deflected a Brock Faber shot to open the scoring midway through the first period. This was Yurov's first career playoff goal. The 22-year-old has earned three points over four games in the second round against the Avalanche after getting held off the scoresheet in four outings versus the Stars in the first round before being scratched twice to end that series. Yurov has added eight shots on net, 11 hits, six PIM and an even plus-minus rating this postseason. He's likely to remain in a middle-six role in the absence of Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body).

Picks up first playoff point Yurov logged an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1.
Impact Yurov was scratched for the last two games of the first round versus the Stars after going scoreless in his first four NHL playoff games. The 22-year-old rookie got the chance to play as a fill-in for Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body), who will also miss at least Game 2 of this series. Yurov put together a decent rookie year with 27 points, 80 shots on net, 62 hits, 43 blocked shots and 28 PIM over 73 regular-season outings, giving him the skills to handle important minutes in the postseason. He had a total of 11 points across 61 playoff contests in the KHL prior to making the move to North America.

Scores in win over Anaheim Yurov scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.
Impact Yurov found the back of the net in the final two games of the regular season, so he was a strong streaming option for managers who needed to boost their lineup amid a flurry of players being rested down the stretch. Don't expect Yurov to have a top-six role in the playoffs, though, as he figures to have a minor role for the Wild in the postseason, most likely as a bottom-six forward. The 21-year-old rookie recorded 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 73 regular-season appearances.

Tallies on power play Yurov scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.
Impact Yurov centered the first line in a heavily rotated Wild lineup. The 22-year-old will likely be back in the bottom six to start the playoffs. His goal Monday snapped an 11-game slump that also saw him sit out twice as a healthy scratch. Yurov is at 11 goals, 26 points (three on the power play), 76 shots on net, 58 hits, 43 blocked shots and 28 PIM over 72 appearances. He has the potential to become a multi-category contributor in fantasy, but it could take a couple more years for that potential to be realized.

Reaches 10-goal mark Yurov scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.
Impact Yurov has two goals over his last three games and is up to 10 tallies this season. The 22-year-old rookie is playing in a middle-six role currently, so he won't be a big producer on offense as long as the Wild's forward group stays mostly healthy. Yurov has a total of 25 points with 68 shots on net, 43 hits, 35 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 60 outings.

Impact Yurov had gone nine games without a goal, earning three assists in that span. The 22-year-old forward has moved around the lineup all season, but he'll likely remain in a bottom-six role as long as the Wild stay healthy down the stretch. Yurov has nine goals, 24 points, 66 shots on net, 43 hits, 35 blocked shots and 22 PIM through 58 appearances.

Scores early Thursday Yurov scored a goal in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Flames.
Impact Yurov ended a four-game point drought with the opening goal at 2:43 of the first period. The 22-year-old forward continues to fill a depth role now that the Wild are at full health up front. Yurov has moved around the lineup depending on the team's health this year, accumulating eight goals, 20 points, 53 shots on net, 30 hits and 31 blocked shots over 48 appearances in his rookie campaign.

Impact Yurov snapped a four-game slump with the second-period tally. The 22-year-old is getting a chance at a larger role in the top six while Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) is out. Yurov has moved around the lineup frequently this season, earning 17 points, 49 shots on net, 25 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 41 appearances in his rookie campaign.

Nets two goals Friday Yurov scored twice in Friday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Impact Yurov had been limited to one assist over his prior six games. The 22-year-old got back in the goal column with a deflection at 8:10 of the second period, and he tallied again in the third to put the Wild up 4-1. Yurov is up to six goals, 15 points, 40 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 23 hits and a minus-1 rating over 35 appearances. He's moved around the lineup a bit, but he should be able to challenge for top-six minutes at even strength.
