Doesn't receive qualifying offer Bancroft won't receive a qualifying offer from the Predators, and he'll become a restricted free agent Wednesday, Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey reports.

Impact Bancroft hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he split time between AHL Providence and AHL Milwaukee during the 2025-26 campaign after he was traded to the Predators from the Bruins. Across 49 regular-season appearances between the two minor-league clubs, he recorded a goal, five assists and 30 PIM.

Sent to Nashville Bancroft and Massimo Rizzo were acquired by Nashville from Boston in exchange for Navrin Mutter on Thursday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Impact Bancroft had a goal and an assist with a minus-four rating and 30 PIM in his first AHL season. He will report to AHL Milwaukee.
