Luca Pinelli - Summoned from AHL Pinelli was recalled from AHL Cleveland on Tuesday.

Impact After joining the Blue Jackets on an emergency basis, Pinelli will be an option for Wednesday's matchup against Toronto. He has registered five goals and 10 points in 13 minor-league outings this season. Pinelli's presence on the roster doesn't bode well for the availability of Mathieu Olivier (upper body) and Kirill Marchenko (upper body) for Wednesday's game.

Impact Gaunce was playing in just his second game since he was called up Friday. The 31-year-old forward figures to have a chance at steady bottom-six minutes while Boone Jenner (upper body) is out of the lineup. Impact Fehervary has a goal and an assist over his last two outings after an eight-game slump. The 26-year-old defenseman tacked on the Capitals' fifth goal -- and fourth from a blueliner -- in this contest. Fehervary is up to eight points, 28 shots on net, 30 hits, 41 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 23 appearances. He's on pace to surpass his career high of 25 points from the 2024-25 regular season, though he'll need to stay healthy to do so after he logged a career-high 81 games last year.
