Joins KHL team Tierney signed a one-year contract with Dinamo Minsk of the KHL on Monday.

Impact Tierney registered four goals and 12 points across 52 regular-season contests with New Jersey in 2023-24. The 30-year-old forward has amassed 80 goals and 248 points over 649 games during his NHL career.

Impact Tierney has a point in three straight games (one goal, two assists), which is great work for a fourth-liner who has gone 10 games without exceeding 10 minutes of ice time. The 29-year-old has 11 points, 23 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-3 rating over 44 contests this season. Given his limited role, Tierney doesn't need to be added in most fantasy formats.

Unless there's a significant shift in his usage by the coaching staff, Tierney's fantasy value remains low.

Impact Tierney, who played his first four NHL campaigns for the Sharks, was able to get on the scoresheet for the first time since Feb. 6. The 29-year-old has just three appearances in February, but he's picked up two points in those games despite seeing limited ice time in a fourth-line role. That's been the story of his season far -- the center is at six points, 16 shots on net, 13 hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 30 appearances.

Tierney could return to being a healthy scratch once Tyler Toffoli (illness) and Jack Hughes (upper body) are back in action.

Impact Tierney's ice time was second-lowest on the team after Samuel Laberge (4:00), but at least Laberge managed to throw a hit during his brief playing time while Tierney failed to record a shot, block or hit in a continuation of a common theme for the fourth-line center. Tierney has just one shot on goal and no points in 12 appearances this season.
