Connor Murphy - Pockets assist in overtime loss Murphy notched an assist and three hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers.

Impact Murphy is helping to pick up some of the slack in the wake of Seth Jones' (foot) absence. The assist ended a six-game point drought for Murphy, who remains a fixture in the Blackhawks' top four. The 31-year-old had a good stretch in late October, but he shouldn't be relied on for offense. He's at eight assists, 18 shots on net, 21 PIM, 30 hits, 46 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 21 appearances this season.

For the season, Brink is at 10 points, 30 shots on net, 22 hits and a minus-8 rating over 18 appearances, playing mainly in a middle-six role with power-play time.

Noah Cates - Nets equalizer Saturday Cates scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Impact Cates picked up his third point in the last five games when he tied the game at 2-2 midway through the third period. The 25-year-old center had just 11:36 of ice time, but he's been playing a solid game lately, which has kept him on the second line at even strength. Cates is up to one goal, four points, 14 shots on net, 25 hits and a plus-9 rating over 17 appearances this season, but he hasn't been scratched since Oct. 19.
