Teuvo Teravainen - Picks up two assists Sunday Teravainen had two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.
Impact Teravainen set up Sam Rinzel in the first period and Connor Bedard with 1:20 left in regulation to force overtime. With three goals and four assists over six games since the Olympic break, Teravainen has hit the ground running. The 31-year-old winger reached the 30-point mark Sunday and has added 70 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-22 rating through 56 appearances in a top-six role.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Frank Nazar - Dishes two helpers in overtime loss Nazar logged two assists, three shots on goal and three blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.
Impact Nazar has five points (one goal, four assists) over his last three outings. The 22-year-old center is on the second line and first power-play unit, so he should be able to sustain a strong level of offense down the stretch, though he has been streaky this year. Nazar has a career-high 29 points with 100 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, 25 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-14 rating over 47 appearances.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Sam Rinzel - Puts away goal Sunday Rinzel scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.
Impact Rinzel has two points over his last three games. The 21-year-old defenseman is settling back into a top-four role after the Blackhawks traded away Connor Murphy to Edmonton, opening the door for a youth movement on the blue line. Rinzel has three goals, 12 points, 58 shots on net, 40 blocked shots, 28 hits and 36 PIM over 35 appearances this season.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Esa Lindell - Nabs power-play helper Sunday Lindell posted a power-play assist and four blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Lindell has four helpers over his last seven contests. This was his first power-play point of the season, though he's averaging 43 seconds per game with the man advantage, his most in any campaign since 2020-21. Lindell is at 25 points, 65 shots on net, 142 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating over 63 appearances, giving him a chance at just the second 30-point campaign of his career.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Oskar Back - Chips in with helper Back logged an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Back ended a 13-game point drought with the helper. The 25-year-old is poised to play regularly on the fourth line while the Stars are missing Roope Hintz (lower body), who is out indefinitely. Back won't add much offense, as he has just nine points with 28 shots on net, 29 blocked shots, 21 hits and a plus-5 rating through 53 appearances this season.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Michael Bunting - Lends helper Sunday Bunting notched an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Bunting got on the scoresheet in his Stars debut. He saw 14:43 of ice time in a third-line role while also playing on the second power-play unit. Bunting's an ideal complementary player, adding a little grit and the ability to be a reliable depth scorer to take some pressure off of Dallas' top players. Through 62 appearances between Dallas and Nashville this season, Bunting has 32 points (nine on the power play), 109 shots on net, 36 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-17 rating.
MARCH 9 ROTOWIRE
Nathan Bastian - Adds another goal Bastian scored a goal on two shots and logged two hits in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Bastian has three goals over his last five games. The 28-year-old is still in a fourth-line role, but he's seeing steadier playing time while the Stars' forward group is at less than 100 percent health. Bastian has six goals, 23 shots on net, 72 hits and 17 PIM through 30 appearances this season.
