Impact With Belleville not in action until Friday, Yakemchuk won't be an option to be recalled ahead of Thursday's clash with Detroit. The 20-year-old blueliner has yet to make his NHL debut and may have to wait until next season to do so. Still, with 25 points in 41 minor-league tilts this year, Yakemchuk could have decent future value in deeper dynasty formats.

Impact Yakemchuk has seven goals and 25 points in 41 minor-league appearances this season. The 20-year-old defenseman is still waiting for a chance to make his NHL debut, but he will probably head back to the AHL once Jake Sanderson returns from the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Scores twice for Belleville Yakemchuk scored two goals in AHL Belleville's 5-3 loss to Syracuse on Friday.

Impact This was Yakemchuk's first multi-goal game at the AHL level. He has three goals and an assist over the last four contests and a total of 23 points in 35 outings this season. Yakemchuk also has a minus-24 rating, and he'll need to make some improvements defensively before he'll be in line for a full-time NHL role.

One of each in AHL win Yakemchuk scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in AHL Belleville's 4-0 win over Toronto on Wednesday.

Impact Yakemchuk has a pair of multi-point efforts so far this season, his first at the AHL level. The 20-year-old defenseman is at three goals, eight assists and 28 shots on net, but his defensive flaws are showing with a minus-9 rating. The scoring potential is tantalizing, and dynasty managers should be patient as he gains professional experience. It doesn't look like the Senators will call him up while Thomas Chabot (upper body) is out, but another injury or two on the big club's blue line could give Yakemchuk a chance to make his NHL debut.

Impact Yakemchuk produced 17 goals and 49 points in 56 regular-season games for WHL Calgary in 2024-25. He will begin his professional career in the minors, but it wouldn't be surprising if he made his NHL debut at some point this campaign.
