Set for surgery Gritsyuk will have surgery to address an upper-body injury and will miss the rest of the season, the team announced Thursday.

Impact Gritsyuk has already missed four games due to his upper-body problem and will now be shut down for the rest of the year. As a rookie, the 25-year-old winger appeared in 66 games this year, tallying 13 goals, 18 assists and 149 shots, including five power-play points. Looking ahead to 2026-27, if Gritsyuk avoids a sophomore slump, he should be capable of building upon those numbers and pushing for the 20-goal and 40-point thresholds.
