Recalled from minors Gagne was called up from AHL Colorado on Friday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Impact Gagne has been moving up and down between levels of late, providing emergency defensive depth while Cale Makar (undisclosed) has been sidelined. Even if Makar can't play in Game 2 on Friday, the 23-year-old Gagne shouldn't expect to get into the lineup.

Impact Gagne got into a few practices with the Avalanche earlier this week. He'll head back to the AHL with the Eagles continuing their playoff series against Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Up from AHL Gagne was recalled from AHL Colorado on Sunday, according to Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

Impact Gagne joined the Avalanche for Sunday's practice. The 23-year-old had 12 assists and 13 points in 58 minor-league appearances during the 2025-26 regular season. He also has two goals in eight AHL playoff outings.
